Dr. Kemp attended the U.S. Navy's Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program and received his certificate in 1997. The following year, he received the Thomas P. Carroll Award for Dental Excellence, the top dentistry award in the Navy. Dr. Kemp is also an active member of the Acadamy of General Dentistry.
Life & Hobbies
Dr. Kemp was born in Pensacola, Florida to Emma and Allyn Kemp. He lived in Pensacola until the age of six, when the family moved to Houston, Texas. Dr. Kemp attended MacArthur High School and graduated in 1981. Wanting to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, he joined the United States Navy immediately after high school and served for 26 years, including Operations Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. When he wasn't on active duty, he completed his college education and worked in various dental offices in Florida, including his own solo practice. After retiring from the Navy in September of 2006, he worked at his solo practice until 2012, when he sold it to move to Atlanta, Georgia.
